Description
The Niloak Pottery Co. began as Eagle Pottery in Benton, Arkansas around 1909 and ended pottery production in the 1950s. Niloak is most well known for its Missionware line, also called swirl pottery. In regular production from 1910 to 1934, Niloak produced vases, penholders, kitchen ware, ewers, creamers, sand jars, umbrella jars and even a very limited, special-order production tile. Here we have a cute FROG planter that is from the Niloak Castware group. A unique piece of pottery that will be sure to please. Great decorator piece and perfect for a little cactus. Displays well from all angles.
Exceptional planter in that it is undamaged, no chips, no cracks, no scratches to glaze. FREE from crazing. Any imperfections are from the firing/manufacturing process. I cannot detect any repairs or modification. . The white spots are studio light reflections.
Authentic Niloak pottery. All images are original and un-edited. Measurements Height: 5", Base: 4 1/2" , Opening: 2 1/2" ID K3120
